A few words about Club Marocain de l’évironnement et le development (CMED)

CMED was established in 1986 as a national Association of Morocco. Its main objectives are:

  • Promoting information, education and communication (IEC) related to  the environment, population and sustainable Development;
  • Completion of field studies on issues of environmental and community development;
  • Implementation of field activities on environmental education and education for sustainable development

Its priority areas include the following themes: Water, biodiversity, renewable energy &  climate change, soil protection and the fight against desertification, prevention against the various sources of solid, liquid pollution, the human settlements & the environmental issues, the impact of human activities on the environment balance and education for sustainable development.

CMED is a member of various networks such as the MIO-ECSDE (Greece) / RAED (Egypt) / Espace associatif ( Morocco).
