The Fountana fountain in the capital of Naxos

In the town of Naxos stands the structure of an impressive fountain house, the so-called Fountana, dating from the Venetian period. It consists of a square building, formed by four arcs, in the middle of which stands the well. The fountain house includes an overflow system for the exit and drain of water. The roof that the four arcs once supported is not preserved.
